Before you begin
When official store listings open, download the app from the platforms section. Setup steps and menu names may vary by platform.
You need an M3U link or an Xtream account and the right to access the content. Mercel TV does not provide these.
Add an M3U link
- Open the source setup screen in the app and choose M3U.
- Give the source a name you will recognise and paste your M3U link into the relevant field.
- Save the source and check your categories and content once the catalogue loads.
Check that the link is correct and up to date. Streaming links can contain a username or password; leave the complete link out of support messages.
Add an Xtream account
- Choose Xtream on the source setup screen in the app.
- Enter the server address, username and password supplied by your provider in the relevant fields.
- Save, then open your own content after the catalogue loads.
Your provider can confirm the server address, port if required, and account details.
Control Android TV from your phone
- Connect your phone and Android TV to the same local network.
- Open the phone connection screen in the TV version of Mercel TV.
- Scan the QR code on the TV or use the six-digit pairing code.
- Check the request on the TV and grant the appropriate control or management permission.
This feature belongs to the Android TV version. The phone remote and the standalone Android/iOS mobile apps are different ways to use Mercel TV.
